Jeffrey Nemecek Has Had a Long Legal Career

Over the course of his long legal career, Jeffrey Nemecek has gained extensive experience as a bond counsel and as an underwriters’ counsel, and he has had a hand in more than $5 billion in closed public financing transactions so far, covering 21 states, in all. Jeffrey has played an active role in many important projects, including infrastructure projects like solid waste and resource recovery facilities, water and sewer facilities, airports and hydroelectric facilities, as well as hospitals, schools, courthouses, correctional facilities and facilities for non-profits, to help them improve the communities in which he operates.

In addition to that experience, Jeffrey Nemecek is a highly experienced and nationally recognized public finance attorney who has worked in many areas of the public financing arena. He is quite skilled and knowledgeable when it comes to dealing with all sorts of complex transactions, and he tends to approach them from a perspective of innovation. The types of financing Jeffrey Nemecek has worked with thus far has run the gamut, including project-revenue financing, conduit transactions, excise tax revenue obligations, loan pool obligations, taxpayer funded projects and obligations, and government appropriated funding options, including tax-exempt and taxable obligations.

Overall, Jeffrey has more than 30 years’ experience in the practice of law, primarily in the areas of public and project financing. Jeffrey Nemecek graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York in 1970. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree there and went on to obtain his Juris Doctor Law Degree from theUniversity of Chicago Law School in 1974. He is admitted to practice law in Alabama, New York, Minnesota, Florida, and New Jersey, and has been for more than a quarter century.
